STORE HISTORY

The original Puffin Oriental Rugs, Ltd. was started in 1976 by Zubair & Lynn Khan and was located in downtown Media, PA. Initially the warehouse was located on Gayley Street above what is now the Pinocchio's Beer Garden. The showroom was opened in 1987 at its current location in downtown Media on Baltimore Avenue between Jackson and Olive Streets, next door to the municipal parking garage.

In 2009, Zubair & Lynn's daughter, Liala, started a new company- Puffin Rugs LLC, to continue the family business under second generation ownership. What has always set Puffin apart from other rug dealers is our dedication to educating our clients and giving this industry a better name by focusing on honest pricing.
