Our full submersion hand-wash process is specifically designed to clean hand-knotted rugs, but also works beautifully on machine-made rugs. The entire cleaning & drying process takes 7-10 days.

We provide stain treatments free of charge, however, we cannot guarantee the stains will come out. 

The only way to fully eliminate rug infestations such as moth larvae is a full-submersion wash process, which is the process we use (opposed to surface cleaning). Chemical mothproofing also available post-wash (lasts for approximately 6 months).

EXPERT RUG RESTORATION

From small repairs like new fringe, side serging, or end overcasting/securing, to intricate invisible reweaving, our expert weaver can restore your rug like new. Rugs to be repaired need to be washed prior, all work is done by hand and we would be happy to give you an estimate before the work is completed. All work is guaranteed.

RUG PADDING 

Rug pads will not only keep your rugs in place and protect your floor from wear, but they also prevent the pile of your rug from wearing down too quickly and provide cushioning and help to insulate your room. All of our pads are made from synthetic fibers and are cut to size, so that your rug will lay beyond the pad by two inches on all four sides (to prevent tripping). We measure the pile of the rug only, do not include the fringes when measuring! 

 

We recommend and stock two different types of padding:

TEEBAUD Non-skid Padding: Great for smaller rugs, runners, and rugs that aren't anchored by any furniture. This pressure-sensitive, dry-adhesive, synthetic pad will hold rugs on any hard surface (with the dark side of the pad facing down), or hold rugs onto carpeting (with the white side of the pad facing down). Teebaud will not mar your rugs or flooring and will not break-down like rubber pads.
 

Builder's Choice Padding: This 1/2" thick, 40oz dense hypo-allergenic, synthetic pad is ideal for rugs size 8x10 and larger. Great for rugs that have heavy furniture on top (helps avoid permanent furniture impressions on the rug pile). It will add a nice plush feel to your rug while also better insulating your room and protecting your floors from wear.
